1 99 9 Multiquark picture for Σ ( 1620 )
In this work we report on a new QCD sum rule analysis to predict masses of the excited baryon states (e.g. Σ (1620) and Λ (1405)) by using multiquark interpolating fields ((qq̄)(qqq)). For the Σ (1620) we consider the K̄N , πΣ, and πΛ (I=1) multiquark interpolating fields. The calculated mass from those multiquark states is about 1.592 GeV. For the Λ (1405) we first show the result using the π+Σ−...

In the QCD sum rule approach we predict the Σ (1620) mass by considering the K̄N , πΣ, and πΛ multiquark interpolating fields (I=1). The predicted mass is about 1.592 GeV. We also obtain 1.424 GeV as the Λ (1405) mass from the πΣ+πΣ+πΣ multiquark state (I=0), and compare this with our previous result from the πΣ multiquark state. On the other hand, the mass from the K̄N multiquark state (I=0) is ...

We propose a new QCD sum rule analysis for the Λ (1405) and the Σ (1620). Using the I=0 and I=1 multiquark sum rules we predict their masses. One of interesting subjects in nuclear physics is to study properties of the excited baryon states. For example, in the case of the Λ (1405) its nature is not revealed completely [1]; i.e. an ordinary three quark state or a K̄N bound state or the mixing st...
متن کاملA Selection Rule for Multiquark Decays
By assuming SU(6)CS symmetry for pentaquark decays one finds a selection rule, which strongly reduces the number of states able to decay into a baryon and a meson final state and allows an intriguing identification for the Θ particle recently discovered with the prediction of a narrow width.

Bile acids (BA) are essential modulators of lipid, glucose, and cholesterol homeostasis, but they exert cytotoxic effects in the cholestatic liver. Glucuronidation, catalyzed by the UDP-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) enzymes is a pharmacologically relevant BA detoxification process. The present study characterized the BA-conjugating activity of the little-studied human UGTs of subfamily 2A: UGT2...
